The Nine Lives gallery has been a staple of Brisbane’s cultural hub since opening in October of 2008 - established and run by friends without the assistance of government grants or financially based initiatives.

During that time they’ve provided a temporary home for the work of many local, interstate and internationally based artists, as well as playing host to exhibitions from the likes of Semi-Permanent & Curvy.

The Nine Lives Gallery has now moved a short distance – retaining the original space above Mellino’s restaurant as office and studio space to creative agencies in need.

Of course, ‘help needed’ won’t include rolling up sleeves, toiling away on floors or painting walls. Just being in attendance for a party to end all parties.
