THIS FRIDAY.
PAPER PLANES
A solo exhibition of new works by Simon Degroot
Opening Night - 6pm November 27
Paper Planes is an exhibition of new work by Simon Degroot. Simon’s illustrative work contains playful images of childlike drawing and erratic scribbles. He weaves outside the margins, combining scrawls with elements of urban design and graffiti mark making in a concert of dexterity. Simon is interested in what might be described as a kind of adult playtime, what he calls a severe childishness. So make a note to yourself to indulge in some grown up naivety.
Check out more of Simons work here.
If you cant make it on the opening night the gallery wil be open:
Tue - Friday 12pm - 5pm
Sat 10.30am - 4pm
Sun 11am - 4pm.

That's the theory behind Paperplanes, a collection of more than 20 works depicting child-like scribbles and naive art that goes on show this week.
"I love people who draw outside the margin and the marks made by people who aren't artists," he said."
